Leaves Galore:
 Quilters will see how to cut the five basic shapes using the Leaves Galore template:  standard leaves, lemon shape leaves, S shapes, Z shapes and vines.
Hearts and More:
Quilters will see how to cut the five basic shapes using the Hearts and More template:  straight edged hearts, curved hearts, circles and flowers.


Additional Information:

I will also discuss Mistyfuse,  its benefits and how to apply.  If time and space allow, a demo using Quilter's chalk line can also be provided.

Class Expectations:

The three hour classes  will teach students how  to cut shapes using the templates. They will leave the class confident to finish the project at home.

The six hour classes will give the students more time for applique placement on the background fabric. Those that work at a faster pace may add decorative stitching to their work.

Lectures

A Quilter’s Journey
During my lecture I will describe my journey as a quilter beginning in the early ‘80s before there were rotary cutters and mats! I will show my first quilt that was hand pieced and hand quilted. My progression of quilts will be shared showcasing those that won Viewer Choice awards. I will tell the tale of how I came upon the Sue Pelland Designs templates beginning a new chapter in my quilting journey.
