Leaves Galore Basics Techniques
Students will learn the techniques to cut the five basic shapes using the Leaves Galore Template. Shapes include: standard leave, lemon shape leave, S shape, Z shape and vine. We will explore using these shapes to make flowers, dragon flies and more! The class will also include a discussion of Misty- fuse - its benefits and application.
Class requirements: 3 Leaves Galore Templates -Norm, Grande or Petite or just 1- Norm, a 28mm rotary cutter with a new blade.
A handout will be provided.
The focus of the 3 hr. class will be learning the cutting technique. For those students who work at a faster pace, appliqueing shapes to the background fabric will be achieved.
The 6 hr. class will give student the opportunity to learn the cutting techniques and apply the shapes to the background fabric. Those that work at a faster pace, may apply decorative stitching.

In this 3hr. class, students will learn how to cut lemon shapes and apply to the background fabric using Quilter's Chalk Line.

Sweet Summer Vine - wall quilt
Students will learn how to use the Leaves Galore templates (Petite and Norm) to make this pretty wall hanging. We will explore the options for petal placement creating a pleasing flower design. The template will also be used as a placement tool to accurately fuse down the vines.
Hope's Diamond Quilt
During this 6hr. class, students will use 9 Fat Quarters and the Leaves Galore - Grande template to make this pretty lap size quilt. The Quilter's Chalk line will be used to mark dark background fabrics for applique placement.
